Powerful

So, a few minutes ago marks the 4th time this week I've been on board with something until someone used the word "powerful" to describe it, and for the usual reasons. I was planning on showing these things to people, but now will not. My view of that sort of sanctimonious homiletic has slipped for me from indifference (do or don't, whatever, the thing is the thing) to tolerance (I won't badmouth the thing in particular, but neither will I promote it).

From the viewer's point of view, it's hardly different from things I see and nod along with, then breeze by; but I can't be the only one to put a dent in an idea's or art piece's spreading by disgust at preachy promotion.
