It's a stunningly beautiful day in my part of the world: modestly cool, a bit blustery, clear as a bell. The wind is from the East and so smells more of desert than ocean, reminding me of my time this weekend on the high desert, enjoying a barbecue and stargazing at an astronomy club's dark site. An after-lunch perusal of the news has yielded more humor than usual, so I'm having some 72% cacao for dessert along with a lovely glass of irony.
This month is much less of a financial disaster than the two previous, allowing for catching up on bills and perhaps even getting a couple of small ventures underway. This week, especially the upcoming weekend, promises to be very productive indeed. The following weekend I'll be out of town, but the one after that includes plans for a party, motivation to get a variety of things done.
Back to work for me, now, but good things to come soon. The feel of an autumn breeze whipping around me is always energizing.
