Then there are those who go far beyond what one might normally expect: Far-flung friends who share and prompt thought and hold me accountable and encourage growth and progress. People who, though in an apparently standard relationship with minimal opportunity for camaraderie (like coworkers), show genuine concern and share true interests. Friends who are friends in spite of inconvenience are good people. I'm grateful. I hope I can be of value to them, as well.
